This week I have spent some time going over the course documents. I have read the Apprentice handbook, the Escalla safeguarding procedure read the notes I made during last weeks induction week and reviewed my SWOT & SMART targets. Opened and replied to all emails relating to 'apprenticeship'. I have made a plan of cases that I want to look out for during the course of my coming working week. I started the Open University e-learning safeguarding course (9% complete at this point). I attempted to complete one of the 'reading' assessments in BksB but was unable to move past one specific point - emails to other cohort members to see if they have had the same issue? - May need to raise this if they haven't.

This week has been our initial induction to the course with a week of classroom-based learning. We have covered an induction to the course and modules on Diversity, Radicalisation, Citizenship as well as more work-based subjects as Housing Benefits and Universal Credits. I have found this incredibly useful in terms of clarifying some of the processes I undertake in my current role.

This week I have been processing UC Atlas work. This involves dealing with mismatches and processing changes to income/household etc. I have also been working on HB & CTR claims

This week I completed my course sign up and undertook a Maths and English assessment.
